Introduction

LoadSharing is an application for ServicePedestal that is used for smart control of power consumption. This makes sure that more outlets cannot be switched on than the available power can supply. For example, an electrical cabinet can have a rated currentMaximum current rating for the protection upstream of the electrical panel. For example, a panel rated at 800 A may be fused up to 800 A. of 800A, while only 600A is available on site.

• If the power consumption rises to 600A, the remaining available outlets are blocked automatically.
• If the power consumption rises above 600A, the system switches off outlets until the power consumption is below 600A again.
