WaterStation SEP /S Cabinet Electrical Installation

Connection of WaterStation cabinets and accessories. The cabinet is connected to a ServicePedestal.

Connection applies to the following models:

• WAS DN65-1 SEP /S MBO
• WAS DN65-1 SEP /S TIN
• WAS DN80-1 SEP /S TIN

Important - Always check the handover procedure to ensure that the product is handed over according to the requirements.

Overview

The following must be connected:

• Control cable for power supply and signals
• Communication cable for the temperature sensor
• Communication cable for the water meter
• Communication cable for the control box (optional)

Note - If WaterStation operation is factory-mounted on the ServicePedestal front, a separate control box must not be connected.

Power Supply and Signals

Control cable between ServicePedestal and WaterStation:

• Voltage 230V AC, 24V DC, and signals

Control cable:

• Maximum length is 100 metres.
• The recommended control cable is listed here.

Temperature Sensor

Communication cable between ServicePedestal and WaterStation:

• 1-Wire bus for the temperature sensor

Communication cable:

• Maximum length is 100 metres.
• The recommended communication cable is listed here.

Water Meter

Communication cable between ServicePedestal and WaterStation:

Communication cable:

Control Box

Communication cable between ServicePedestal and the control box:

Note - If WaterStation operation is factory-mounted on the ServicePedestal front, the control box must not be installed.

Communication cable:

Termination:

• When a control box is installed, one 120 ohm resistor must be moved:
  • In ServicePedestal, the 120 ohm resistor must be removed.
  • In the control box, the 120 ohm resistor must be installed.
  • The recommended termination method listed here must be followed.
  • The recommended resistor listed here must be used.
