WaterStation DN80-X SEP /B Electrical Installation

Connection of WaterStation wells and accessories.

Connection applies to the following model:

• WAS DN80-1 SEP /B TIN

Important - Always check the handover procedure to ensure that the product is handed over according to the requirements.

Overview

The following must be connected:

• Control cable for power supply and signals between WaterStation and ServicePedestal
• Communication cable for the control unit

Control Cable

The control cable between WaterStation and ServicePedestal is routed through the cable gland in the side of WaterStation:

• Voltage 230V AC, 24V DC, and signals
• Fuse max. 10A

Control cable:

• The maximum control-cable length between WaterStation and ServicePedestal is 100 metres.
• The recommended control cable listed here must be used.

Important - Check that the cable gland on WaterStation is tightened and seals around the cable so the penetration is watertight.

Control Box

The communication cable between ServicePedestal and the control box is routed through the cable gland in the side of ServicePedestal:

• A control unit must be connected and installed for the water outlet.

Termination:

• When a control box is installed, the 120 ohm resistor must be removed from the connection point:
  • In ServicePedestal, the 120 ohm resistor must be removed.
  • In the control box, the 120 ohm resistor must be installed.
  • The recommended termination method listed here must be followed.
  • The recommended resistor listed here must be used.

Communication cable:

• The maximum communication-cable length from ServicePedestal to the control box is 600 metres.
• The recommended communication cable listed here must be used.

Important - Check that the cable gland on ServicePedestal is tightened and seals around the cable so the penetration is watertight.
