Connection of BioWatch cabinets and accessories.

 

Connection applies to:

• BWA YD-I series.

 

Overview

The following must be connected:

• Main cable for power supply to the cabinet
• Motor cable for power supply to the motor

The following can be connected: (options)

• Control cable for external signals, for example start/stop

• Control cable for remote control of an external motor

 

Note that jumpers must be installed if options etc. are not used.

Main cable

Connection of main cable.

• The main cable is mounted directly on the main switch

 

 

Motor cable

Connection of motor cable.

• The motor cable is connected as star/delta
• Set the motor protection to 0.58 x the motor current consumption

 

Control cable signals

Connection of external signals, for example start/stop.

• Jumper must be fitted if the option is not used

• Pressure transmitter as specified here must be used

 

Control cable external motor

Connection of control signals for remote control of an external motor.

 

Note that the stop signal on terminals 3 and 4 functions as normally closed (NCNormally closed.). The stop signal opens if:

1. the tank is full and the level meter registers a high level (requires transmitter connection)
2. the tank is full and the overflow protection is activated (requires float connection)
3. the electronic clock function is active and the time has expired (requires the clock option to be selected and the clock to be set)
