BioWatch Operation

This page describes operation and operating status for BioWatch.

BioWatch can be operated in the following ways:

• From the operating buttons on the panel front
• From externally connected start and stop functions

Safety Switch

The safety switch is used to stop all operating modes and disconnect the supply voltage.

Operating Modes for the YD Series

The panel front can be used to select the operating mode and to start or stop the motor.

Timer Mode (Option)

1. The timer determines when the motor starts and stops.
2. Manual mode and automatic mode are deactivated.

Manual Mode

1. Use the start and stop buttons on the panel front to start or stop the motor.
2. If a stop timer is installed, the motor stops automatically after the configured time.
3. Timer mode and automatic mode are deactivated.

Automatic Mode

1. Use the start and stop buttons on the panel front, or the external start and stop functions, to start or stop the motor.
2. If a stop timer is installed, the motor stops automatically after the configured time.
3. Timer mode is deactivated.
