Power Supply

OceanWatcher must be connected to 230 V / 50 Hz.

Data Logging

Water-level logging is available as an option:

• The water level is logged internally in the data logger and synchronized continuously with Emiko.
• The logging interval can be configured.

Water-temperature logging is available as an option:

• Water temperature is logged internally in the data logger and synchronized continuously with Emiko.
• The logging interval can be configured.

Water-current logging is available as an option:

• Water currents are logged internally in the data logger and synchronized continuously with Emiko.
• Logging supports up to 10 water-current zones.
• The logging interval can be configured.

Data Export to DMIDanish Meteorological Institute.

OceanWatcher can export data to DMIDanish Meteorological Institute. as an option:

• Data is sent in real time to DMIDanish Meteorological Institute., typically every 10 minutes or on events and deviations.
• Data export to DMIDanish Meteorological Institute. can be switched on and off.

Data Export to Website

OceanWatcher can send real-time data for live display on websites as an option:

• Data is sent in real time to websites, typically every 10 minutes or on events and deviations.
• Data export to websites can be switched on and off.

Battery Backup

The unit has built-in battery backup with automatic battery charging.

Monitoring

The following functions are monitored as a minimum:

• Power supply connection and disconnection.
• Backup battery failure.
• The unit shuts down because the backup battery is depleted.
• Serial communication failure.

Alarms are sent by SMSSMS is a text message that can be sent or received with a mobile phone. or email and to Emiko.

OceanWatcher measures water level relative to DVR90Danish Vertical Reference 1990., the Danish vertical reference point.
