Firmware upgrade

Firmware in VikMoteController with built-in GSM and data logger. units can be upgraded to the latest version.

• The upgrade is performed over the internet and runs in the background while the unit operates normally
• When the firmware has been transferred successfully, the unit briefly restarts to use the new firmware *

Benefits of the upgrade:

• The unit's firmware is updated to the latest version

• Improved communication
• Support option (support is difficult to provide on older firmware versions)

Prerequisites:

• The unit must be powered on and online

• Data and settings in VikMoteController with built-in GSM and data logger. are retained, but no 100% guarantee is given **
• Loss of data and settings cannot be ruled out in very rare cases **

*   Restart can be delayed if, for example, the unit is charging the internal battery or synchronizing data
