Operation

GateKeeper can open gates, turnstiles, barriers, and doors by using the access method that has been enabled for the user.

The available method depends on the installed setup and the active access mode. In access-controlled modes, the request is validated against the GateKeeper access data before the service is activated.

Web/App

Users can send an opening request from the connected Web or app interface when their user profile has the required permissions.

  1. Sign in to the connected Web or app interface for the installation.
  2. Select the relevant GateKeeper access point.
  3. Start the opening request.

If the installed program is deactivated, or if the active access mode is closed, the request is rejected.

Voice Call

Users can open the installation by calling the phone number assigned to the GateKeeper unit from a registered mobile number.

  1. Call the assigned GateKeeper number from the registered mobile number.
  2. Wait for the system to validate the request and activate the service.

Voice-call access requires the caller's mobile number to be registered for the user profile. The GateKeeper voice flow does not require keypad input or DTMF confirmation.

RFID

Users can open the installation by presenting a registered RFIDRFID access cards, credit cards, or key tags can be used with a key reader for access control. card or key to a configured reader.

  1. Go to the configured GateKeeper reader for the access point.
  2. Present the registered RFIDRFID access cards, credit cards, or key tags can be used with a key reader for access control. card or key.
  3. Wait for the system to validate the identity and activate the service.

The current GateKeeper build implements RFID handling for up to six readers.

SMS

Users can send an SMS-based access request from a registered mobile number when SMS control is enabled for the installation.

  1. Send OPEN or Ă…BEN from the registered mobile number to the assigned GateKeeper number.
  2. Wait for the system to validate the request and activate the service.

The SMS command is matched directly against the configured open command. Do not add extra text. The sender's mobile number must be registered for the user profile.
