VikMote Command Guide

You can send commands by SMS or from Emiko.

When using SMS, include the equipment password unless the sender is already created as a USER or ADMIN.
When using Emiko, send the command from the backend. The command text does not include the SMS password.

You receive a reply when the equipment accepts an SMS command. See here for test and verification commands.

If You Use SMS

Use your mobile phone to send an SMS to the phone number in the equipment.

The syntax is:

PASSWORD_COMMAND (where _ is a space)

The VikMote passwordAccess code used for SMS and voice calls, for example in the SMS command '1234 signal'. used in the examples is '1234'

Note if the user is created as a VikMote userA VikMote user has limited access and can use ordinary daily functions such as switching an output on or off. or as a VikMote administratorA VikMote administrator has unrestricted access to all functions., the VikMote passwordAccess code used for SMS and voice calls, for example in the SMS command '1234 signal'. does not need to be used.

Examples

This is how to request the current mobile signal with SIGNAL:

Send the command 1234 SIGNAL.

This is how to request firmware version information with VER:

Send the command 1234 VER.

If You Use Emiko

Use the backend send function in Emiko to send a command to the equipment.

The syntax is:

Indexed Commands

Some commands use # as a placeholder for the number you want to use. Replace # with the actual channel or series number.

VW# becomes VW1 for analog output channel 1.
OTMIN# becomes OTMIN3 for 1-Wire channel 3.

Advanced

If several commands must be sent together, combine them in one operation.

The syntax is:

COMMAND#COMMAND (hvor #The # character marks an index number. For example, TIMER# represents a parameter family for multiple inputs, where TIMER1 configures input 1 and TIMER2 configures input 2. adskiller kommandoerSMS commands can be sent to a VikMote device, for example '1234 timer1 30', where 'timer1' is the command and '30' is the timer value.)
