WeatherStation operation is normally done from Emiko. The physical installation measures the local conditions, DataGuard reports selected values, and Emiko presents the WeatherStation values for daily use.
Daily overview
Use Emiko to view the latest WeatherStation values available for the site.
Use Equipment and Service status in Emiko to confirm whether WeatherStation runtime reports normal service state for the installed solution.
Use graphs and history to follow changes over time.
Use alarms, reports, or sharing features when those options are part of the delivered solution.
Verify unexpected values against the physical site before acting on them.
System status in Emiko
When WeatherStation is configured for status reporting, Emiko shows both equipment status and service status for daily operation.
Use status as a quick operational overview together with live values and alarms.
If status does not match site conditions, continue to Troubleshooting and verify sensor path, DataGuard setup, and connectivity.
This page describes active operational status only. Detailed internal data-package behavior is handled in technical service material.
Value chain
Each WeatherStation value has a complete chain from field instrument to Emiko.
The field instrument measures the value.
The controller reads the source value through RS485, analog input, digital input/counter, or 1-Wire.
DataGuard maps the value to WeatherStation and the correct data type.
Emiko stores and presents the value.
When values are missing
A missing value should be treated as a chain problem, not only as an Emiko presentation problem. Check the sensor, cable, source setup, DataGuard setup, and Emiko equipment assignment.
Continue to Troubleshooting when a value is missing, stale, implausible, or shown under the wrong equipment.
Routine checks
Inspect exposed sensors for dirt, damage, loose mounting, blocked rain paths, or cable damage.
Check that mounted sensors still represent the intended local measurement point.
Compare live values with site conditions after service or sensor replacement.
Confirm that DataGuard and Emiko values return after power interruption or mobile network outage.
