Shared Runtime Controller Settings

Use this page for shared runtime settings that describe the built-in controller, rather than communication, access, or I/O behaviour.

Use these settings to identify the controller clearly before alarms, reporting, or voice functions are put into service.
The listed default values can be changed to match the installation.

Name

Set a clear name for the controller. The name is included in messages and makes it easier to identify which installation sent the alarm or status message.

Use only normal text characters and blank spaces.
Use ae, oe, and aa instead of national characters.
Do not start or end the name with a blank space.

Voice Settings

Select the voice setup that matches the installation and expected language handling.

No single shared default exists for this parameter.
The default depends on which controller software the installation uses.
Typical defaults are 1 for FlexGuard, 2 for FlexVander, and 4 for ProPower equipment.

Best Practice

Choose a name that uniquely identifies the controller in alarms, logs, and service work.
Review the voice setup before enabling voice alarms or voice-based operation.
Keep controller identity and communication settings separated, so each function is maintained in the right place.
