Monitoring Settings

Use this page to configure monitoring and logging rules for communication profiles that read supported meters and similar counting equipment.

Negative-Value Monitoring

Use this parameter to raise an alarm when a monitored profile keeps reporting a negative value longer than the accepted time window.

This setting is typically used for supported metering profiles such as energy, heat, and water meters.

Parameter

Index Range Format Default Example
DEVWNEGA# 1..128 0..120

0 = No negative-value monitoring

>0 = Number of minutes a negative value may continue before an alarm is raised for the selected profile

5 DEVWNEGA1 10

Counter Rollback Monitoring

Use this parameter to raise an alarm when the reported counter value decreases. This helps detect cases where a meter has been replaced or starts reporting an unexpectedly lower counter reading.

Parameter

Index Range Format Default Example
DEVWCNT# 1..128 0..1

0 = No counter rollback monitoring

1 = Raise an alarm if the counter value decreases for the selected profile

1 DEVWCNT1 1

Profile Logging

Use this parameter to enable periodic logging for supported communication profiles. Logging is disabled by default and must be enabled per profile when the product workflow requires periodic stored values.

Parameter

Index Range Format Default Example
DEVLOG# 1..128 0..2

0 = No profile logging

1 = Log every hour

2 = Log every 24 hours

0 DEVLOG1 1
