Use this page when the installation includes analog output channels that must be set from the equipment. Analog output channels can be onboard or provided by supported vNet analog output modules.
Use category: Installation-dependent.
Review this page only when the equipment or enabled I/O expansion includes analog output channels.
Confirm the channel type, output range, and field wiring before writing a live value.
When to Use This Page
Use this page for direct writing of analog output values.
Writes a value to analog output channel #. Use only channel numbers that exist on the actual hardware, and use the numeric value range that matches the configured analog output type.
VW1 2048
Hardware Dependency
The number of available analog output channels depends on the selected equipment and installed modules.
Some devices provide onboard analog outputs directly.
Supported vNet analog output modules can add extra analog output channels.
If the installation does not expose analog output hardware, this page does not apply.
Verify the output channel number, signal type, and wiring before sending a live value.
Start with a safe test value and confirm the expected field response locally.
When the channel is provided by a vNet module, confirm the module is enabled and commissioned before using VW#.
Do not write a manual test value to a channel that is already controlling live equipment unless the process impact is understood.
