FlexVander is Emiko-connected pump control for irrigation pumps. It is installed at the pump location, while ownership, daily overview, user access, remote operation, reports, and optional field values are handled through Emiko.
The Partner for a FlexVander installation is the organization that owns daily operation, such as a farm, greenhouse owner, or irrigation business with administrator access in Emiko Console. Vikingegaarden or a Reseller can help make the equipment available, but the Partner controls daily access and Reseller relationships.
Use these pages to get from first planning to daily self-service operation.
Start with the current model range when you plan a new FlexVander installation.
For installations that already use another supported model, use the installation page that matches the installed hardware.
Use the installed controller model to decide whether the unit is a current Emiko model, a supported installed unit, a Legacy VMS only unit, or no longer supported. The shared upgrade reference is Equipment Upgrade To Emiko.
Identify the installed VikMote controller platform before promising Emiko support or upgrade work. This table shows platform compatibility for Emiko. Product-specific model and wiring details remain under the relevant product branch.

Supported means the platform can be assessed for Emiko use. Product software, exact controller model, and site conditions must still be confirmed.
Product-specific model names, diagrams, and IO lists remain under the relevant equipment documentation, for example FlexVander unit specifications.
For new installations, Emiko is the normal daily operating environment. The Partner uses the relevant Emiko Site in Emiko Console and can see the FlexVander Emiko Equipment that has been assigned directly by Vikingegaarden or forwarded through a Reseller.
For the shared platform model behind this, continue to Emiko Ecosystem Overview, Roles And Ownership, Onboarding And Assignment, Access, Permissions And Control, and Emiko Login And Identity.
The core FlexVander function is remote control and monitoring of field irrigation pumps.
FlexVander can add more irrigation follow-up when the installation includes the relevant sensors, meters, or Emiko Modules.
A pressure transmitter can be connected so the Partner can follow live operating pressure in Emiko. Pressure limits are adjusted electronically, and FlexVander can stop or alarm when the configured pressure conditions are not met.
Energy meters can show energy use per pump run and per pump. This helps the Partner see what irrigation costs in energy and gives a better basis for comparing fields, pumps, and operating periods.
Available inputs can be used for field measurements such as rainfall, soil temperature, humidity, wind, and wind direction when the required sensors are installed.
When the relevant Emiko Modules or options are part of the solution, forecast and warning features can support irrigation planning, for example around expected rain, wind, evaporation, or conditions that need attention.
DataGuard is used when selected field sensor values must be forwarded and shown in Emiko as weather or field values.
Emiko is the preferred operating method for new installations. Depending on the installation, FlexVander can still also be operated by SMS, voice call, or local push button for service or existing operating workflows.
The first FlexVander was delivered in 2000, and over time we have delivered thousands of FlexVander installations for remote control of irrigation pumps.
Supported installed models include FlexVander NX-900, FlexVander NX-910, FlexVander AX9 encore, and FlexVander AX9 turbo.
